A message from the creator of Let the Light Return:

“My two oldest children begged me to attend a youth conference in the Buffalo Convention Center. I was not big on those types of events but finally acquiesced. As I entered the main hall on that fateful Sunday morning in late December, I heard the words that would transform my life forever. From a speaker on platform, I heard “ Its is no longer time just to take back a campus, it is time to take a city.” Much more was said at that gathering but all I would be able to focus on were the words “it was time to take a city for Christ.” I knew it was “Buffalo, New York.” Nothing would shake those words from my thoughts. Day after day, week after week there was an internal wrestling within. “What do I do with this?” Then the next big revelation. I loved to read about the Pan American Exposition and how the invention of the light bulb created an illumination so powerful that 8 million visitors would come, from all over the world, to Buffalo, in 1901, to witness this miraculous invention light up the 3640acre exposition site with over 100,000 8-watt incandescent light bulbs. That image stuck with me as I wondered- could it happen again? Then it hit. Why not? This time it would be a human illumination as never seen before. I believed God was leading me to create a blueprint that would outline how this city transformation was to take place. Habakkuk 2:2-3 And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay. so after nearly 23 years, I believe it has been revealed that it is time to”
